It seems I can get the same effect as Brain Salon just by putting on various music styles so I’m a little intrigued but kudos to them because I am sure lots of people may try this. If you tell someone they will feel focused after listening to this, will they not feel focused? If you tell someone this is a calming cd and then ask them how they feel after listening to the cd, I bet they feel calm. Do you know why they would suggest not using while pregnant?
I have discussed these findings with my sister, and two nice which are professionals in the fields of psychology, and medicine respectively (my sister and older nice have vast experience on the psychology arena, and my younger nice is a pediatrician), and they all agree this therapy can be of a great benefit applied in conjunction with traditional self-improvement programs.

Anabel is taken to safety by Latios and later awakens to help the Frontier Brains fight off Guile's rental Pokémon while Emerald and the other Pokédex holders fight Guile. Eventually, Emerald and the Pokédex holders manage to defeat Guile and destroy the gigantic Kyogre monster. The day after, an injured Anabel and the other Frontier Brains congratulate Emerald for the hard work he put into saving everyone. Anabel then awards Emerald the Ability Symbol for his skills in traversing the Battle Tower.
Espeon, Anabel's favorite Pokémon, was seen during Ash's rematch against her, where it battled against Ash's Pikachu. Even though Espeon at first managed to overwhelm Pikachu with its speed and power, one of Pikachu's Thunderbolts put the lights off, making it impossible for both Anabel and Espeon to see where the next attack was coming from. This cost some critical hits for Espeon, and Pikachu was finally able to defeat the Sun Pokémon with a Volt Tackle, winning the match for Ash and earning him the Ability Symbol.

Since the beginning of this year, I’ve been doing meditation with the help of audio-beat technology from a well-known brand, which I thought was a bit expensive. Our brains follow cues from outside stimuli, and brainwaves mimic the pulse rates of the sounds we expose it to. So, by creating tracks that pulse sound waves at a desired frequency, we can effectively coax our brain into that state. In layman's terms; by listening to some strange sounding brainwave frequency audios, we can literally slip our brain into a state of feeling calm, alert, focused, energized... and the list goes on. “Stress” is a commonly used term, and it is often used with different meanings. The standard definition for stress that will be used in this article is the disruption of the body’s homeostasis or a state of disharmony in response to a real or perceived threat or challenge (8). The threatening or challenging situation is referred to as a “stressor.” When a person encounters a stressor, the body prepares to respond to the challenge or threat. The autonomic nervous and endocrine systems respond by producing the hormones epinephrine, norepinephrine, and cortisol. The result of this hormone production is a cascade of physiological reactions that make up the stress response. Epinephrine and norepinephrine are involved in the initial changes that take place to prepare the body to react and to prepare for a challenge. These responses include increases in heart and respiration rates, blood pressure, perspiration, and energy production (8). There also is a suppression of immune function, production of β-endorphin (the body’s natural pain killer), and increased acuity of the senses. These changes make up the fight-or-flight response, which prepares the body to cope with the stressor. If the stressor is perceived as negative or more as a threat than as a challenge, cortisol production is increased. Cortisol is involved in energy production but also suppresses immune function.

The use of brainwave entrainment techniques offers many benefits for overall health and well-being, including improved emotional stability, increased cognitive function, and a deepening of creative insight. I believe that there is a frequency at which a brain functions, they can vary depending on circadian rhythm or other factors. When we expose our brain to isochronic/binaural beats, it has a resonating effect on the brain, i.e. the brain starts to alter its frequency in order to synchronise with the tone. Once the specific frequency is achieved, you will have the desired effect (depending on the specific frequency you are trying to induce).
PMS: There is a little research that supports the efficacy of brainwave entrainment for PMS symptom reduction in women.
